It's a big circuit... At 37.733 miles long, there are a lot of places to view from and a lot of ways to spend your day. We recommend specific viewing options for each racing day in our tour, but of course you are free to choose your own.
Be warned: the weather can be quite tricky on the Island and causes many schedule changes. Being on a tour with us is one of the best ways to ensure that you get the best experience no matter what the weather and the authorities throw at us!
For example, in 2014 there were numerous schedule changes. An unexpected race day Tuesday found our happy group enjoying the racing from Union Mills in prime seating. The move of the Sidecar race to Thursday meant that we watched this from possibly the best viewing point on the track: the famous Creg- ny-baa pub on the mountain section!
You must watch at least one day from the TT Stand! This is such an historic location. The scoreboards are still painted by hand by boy scouts. You can see the pit stops and fueling, as well as the start and finish lines, and a direct view to the podium. Of course you have immediate access to the paddock and are in the "nerve centre" of the TT. We can sell these as an option to any 8 day package.
There are also temporary grandstands erected around the track, notably at Ballaugh, Creg-ny-baa and Nobles Park. We do not sell these in general, but we can help you purchase.
General viewing along the course side is free of charge, but some private areas may charge a small fee.
If you want to upgrade your experience, join us as we settle down at a classic Manx pub course-side. Great viewing and of course great cheer to accompany the day. Lunch is included. A great day out!
The exact pub is not confirmed, the photo is illustrative. This is INCLUDED in the ELITE & SUPERIOR 8 day packages, please inquire if you would like to join us.
For the truest experience of the TT you must spend at least one race camped out on a grassy bank, while the bikes roar past at 170+ mph and the shock-wave literally takes your breath away! There is nothing between you and the bike a few feet away but a blad of grass!
We take you to 1 or 2 trackside locations (weather and race circumstances dictate), where you not only get to experience watching a race from a farmyard, but we spoil you silly with treats from the tea trolley, sandwiches and a cooler of beverages!
n.b. you really ARE in the countryside - dress sensibly!
INCLUDED in the ELITE and SUPERIOR 8 night packages, others may book separately. Please enquire.
Tromping around in a field not really your thing? Thankfully we also offer the top VIP hospitality at the Monster Energy tent at the paddock. There is a viewing garden adjacent to the pit lane return, and also a private section right in the centre of the main grandstands. Celebrity and rider visits during the day give you plenty of opportunities to meet your favourite motorcycle heroes. Enjoy beer, wine and soft drinks all day; a brilliant lunch and seemingly endless snacks, desserts and more. Sadly it closes at 17:00 - you won't want to leave!
You may instead opt for the VIP Platinum. This is the same as the Friday VIP Platinum - including the course car. See below for more detail.
This is not included in any package, but you may purchase separately. Please enquire.
Price: from £450 (book with package)
For those not joining us at Klaffi, we line up a special day at the lovely corners at Braddan Bridge. We watch from seats set out in front of the church, and wandering areas up and down track (including watching from the 18th century graveyard!)
You can do what you like on Wednesday, but our customers are welcome guests at the hospitality of our sponsored team: Manx Gas Klaffi Sidecars.
The hospitality is open all day, with yummy Austrian beer, wine, great food, and several special guests during the day. We get a private tour of the paddock and the pit and bike. There is a superb private stunt show from famous trials stunter Steve Colley. We also provide a Main Grandstand ticket for all our guests, along with a well-stuffed welcome pack! This is another day you won't want to end!
Price: from £0 (book with package)
This was so popular in 2015, we have expanded in 2016. We have secured 2 private tables at the legendary Creg-ny-baa pub on the mountain course for one of the optimum viewing experiences of the TT.
We have a vantage point on the terrace, and of course acccess to the brilliant food and drink (lunch included). Very limited availability!
For the climax of the TT you can watch it from the roadside, but we offer four hospitality options as part of our packages. You may also purchase most of these independently. Prices for tickets are cheaper when purchased with a package.
Price: from £300 (book with package)
Pole Position Travel is the leading provider of VIP hospitality at MotoGP and SBK events world wide. So we know a thing or two when we state that the Platinum VIP Experience at the Isle of Man TT is the best hospitality in motorsports!
However in addition to these incredible benefits, in our experience it is the "magic" that really makes this an unforgettable day.
Such as standing ON the grid next to the legendary John McGuinness just before he sets out to win the Sr race. Such as Keith Amor taking us to view the Senior from a private garden right at the foot of Bray Hill - 170mph bikes less than arm's length away. Such as Conor Cunmins coming to our table to welcome guests. And many more, all wrapping up an unbelievable day.
There are VERY LIMITED number of places available. We restrict sales of these places to our package customers, but if you are can't book a package with us for some reason, contact us and we will see if we can help.
Package customers: £1200 (book with package) • Non-package customers: £1300
